The goal of profit sharing is to allow every member the opportunity and option to earn as much ISK as possible. The system is based upon corporation activities, such as mining, mining ops, security, and mission ops. The level of profit sharing increases as does activity. However, it is never mandatory for members to join in any activity - this does decrease or limit their profit sharing for the week.
PROFIT SHARING POINTS
New members typically start within the range of .1 to 1.0 profit sharing points. This number is based upon experience. This is also the base number used for minimal corporate activity. 3-4 hours a week of corporate participate will garner payment at the base points rate.
INCREASING PROFIT SHARING POINTS
There are many ways to increase profit sharing points. They vary, and some result in higher increases (such as training). Other methods of increasing profit sharing are temporary, unlike training for high end skills. For instances, joining in a corporate operation increases a member's profit sharing for that week. The following week it returns to its base. Permanent increases are highlighted.

- +.25 - Added for battlecruiser training (any class battlecruiser)
- +.50/class of specialty ship training (interceptor, assault ship, logistics, fighter, etc.)
- +.25 - Added for dedicated occupation (trader, miner, security, researcher)

POINTS SYSTEM EXAMPLE
A member who is active in the Mining Operations group, and who is trained to use an Iteron II, has the following profit sharing:
.25 (base) + .25 (dedicated occupation) + .50 (Iteron rank II) = 1.0
If this member were to also train to use a Procurer mining barge, the points would increase as follows:
1.0 (from above) + .5 (Procurer training) = 1.5
To receive the 1.5 weekly payment of profit sharing, the member must be active 3-4 hours the week of payment. If the member decided to do other things or was not online for that week, the base profit sharing points would remain at 1.5, but no profit sharing would be paid that week.
Additionally, if the above member joined in a weekly corporate operations, the profit sharing points would be increased temporarily for each active operation:
1.5 (base) + .25 Mining Operations (Monday) + .25 Mining Operations (Thursday) = 2.0
Because corporate operation bonuses are temporary, the member would return to 1.5 the following week.
EARNINGS FROM PROFIT SHARING
All corporate members are welcome to go about their own business. Participation in corporate activities is always optional. But, there are advantages to assisting the corporation. Corporate Profit Sharing is paid paid from net corporate profits (expenses, skills, and materials decrease these weekly profits).
This means a member can see substantial earnings for minimal activity. Or vast earnings for high level activity. Note that profit sharing varies with weekly corporate profits. If very few members are active in operations, the profits are likely to be lower.
Here is an example of what a member participating in profit sharing might see for a weekly payment based on the same alliance profits:
.25 points (new member without dedicated occupation) = 187,500 ISK
1.25 points (trained in Iteron II, participated in 2 weekly corp ops) = 937,500 ISK
2.0 points = (trained in cruiser and battlecruiser, participated in 1 weekly corp op) = 1,500,000 ISK
(member who is a Retriever pilot, trained with Iteron I, has a dedicated occupation -miner -, and participated in 2 weekly ops):
2.25 = 1,875,000 ISK
Of course, for those members who participate in their dedicated occupations for several hours a week, there are weekly profit sharing bonuses. These can boost a weekly earning significantly. The above Retriever pilot who mined an additional 4 days of the week (2-4 hours each day), gained +.25 per day, increasing his points and payment:
3.25 = 2, 437,599 ISK
When the profit sharing bonus is added to the skills, ship, and materials compensation provided by the corporation, the gains are considerable. The above Retriever pilot who trained with the corporation had several million ISK in skills provided, and the Retriever mining barge as well, as well as an Iteron I for training in that ship.
Lastly, the more activity from members, the higher the profits. The objective is to reward those players who enjoy assisting the corporations. There are no employees, everyone is a member.
PROFIT SHARING PAYMENTS
Profit sharing is made in weekly payments, are paid weekly. Keep an eye on your wallet for the payment.
